McCarthy & Stone in Weybridge is recruiting a professional Care Supervisor to support the management and smooth running of Campbell House, a Retirement Living Plus development with 42 apartments for the over-70s.
You'll supervise care and support teams, ensure safety and wellbeing of homeowners, coordinate activities and help strengthen community spirit, while leading by example across day and sleeping night shifts.
McCarthy & Stone are recruiting a professional Care Supervisor to join the team at our prestigious Campbell House development in Weybridge, Surrey.
Hourly rate: £16.78 per hour for day shifts and £13.03 SLEEPING night shifts per hour. Plus receive an extra £1 for every hour worked from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday
Hours: 33 per week (includes a mix of day shifts and sleeping night shifts)
Week one – Monday nights 3.15pm to 8am and Saturday and Sunday shifts – 7.45am to 3.30pm
Week two – Tuesday and Wednesday nights between 3.15pm to 8am
Our Care Supervisors sleep between 23:00pm and 07:00am providing emergency support only to our homeowners throughout that period.
Built in 2020, Campbell House is a Retirement Living Plus development that consists of 42 apartments with the over 70's in mind, providing excellent on-site facilities and set within beautiful grounds.
We are seeking a professional Care Supervisor to exemplify the high-quality customer standards that we are renowned for. This is a brilliant opportunity to support the management and smooth running of this thriving community of active and independent older people, so they get to live their best lives - in elegant private apartments in a beautiful setting – with the peace of mind of always having someone on hand to help if needed.
You will be a warm, friendly, organised, and self-motivated individual with experience of working in a care or support environment and excellent care skills.
You will want to work in the Health and Social care sector and preferably have a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification, although consideration will be given to a candidate with an alternative qualifications and relevant experience.
Keen to take on the responsibility of managing the security of the development, looking after the safety and wellbeing of the homeowners, and overseeing the Care and Support teams.
Able to co-ordinate and facilitate activities that help strengthen the community spirit within the development.
Driven to continue to grow their skills and will want to lead by example and think on their feet.
Able to make a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
