Job summary

Praxis Care is seeking a Manager for the Lisburn service to lead a multi-disciplinary team delivering person-centred support. You will report to the Head of Operations and ensure regulatory, contractual compliance and high-quality care for vulnerable individuals.

Essential criteria include 3 years in supervision in health and social care, with qualifications in Social Work, Nursing or related fields and registration within six months.

Qualifications

• Essential: 3 years of supervisory/managerial experience in health and social care.
• Qualification in Social Work, 1st Level Nursing, Allied Health Profession or Level 5 Leadership for Health and Social Care services.
• Must be registered with the appropriate body within the first six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure service is user-focused and person-centred.
• Oversee referral, admission and review procedures with statutory agencies and families.
• Monitor progress towards independence and review needs with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Handle concerns or complaints following policy.
• Lead staff recruitment, induction and development in partnership with Support Services.
• Provide leadership, supervision and workload management for staff.
• Foster a positive, cohesive environment and handle disciplinary matters as needed.
• Develop community presence and promote Praxis Care brand.
• Ensure compliant administration, budgeting and reporting procedures.
