Job summary

Agincare is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to oversee specialist support services in New Milton and the Southampton area. You will lead operations, ensure person-centred care, and work closely with families and health professionals to achieve outstanding outcomes.

The role reports to the Registered Manager and includes rota planning, budget support, on-call duties, and driving service improvement across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrable experience supporting individuals with mental health needs.
• Previous leadership and management experience in health/social care settings.
• Proficient IT skills including Word and Excel.
• Must have a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple services in New Milton and Southampton.
• Prepare staff rotas and support budget management.
• Ensure safeguarding and KPI compliance across services.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, professionals and stakeholders.
• Support the Registered Manager and act as on-call when required.
• Role-model best practices and ensure high-quality, person-centred care.
