Job summary

Agincare Weymouth is seeking a Deputy Manager to provide operational leadership across New Milton and Southampton services. You will support the Registered Manager, oversee staff rostering, budgets, and quality assurance to ensure safe, person-centred care.

You will lead teams, drive continuous improvement, manage safeguarding and regulatory reporting, and maintain positive relationships with people we support and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• QCF Level 4/5 or equivalent in health & social care.
• Proven leadership/management experience in health/social care.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient IT skills including Word and Excel.
• UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager with oversight of multiple services.
• Lead and develop staff across services, including Care Managers and Support Workers.
• Ensure KPI targets and regulatory standards are met.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and quality care.
• Contribute to rota planning and budget management.
• Attend meetings and support out-of-hours on-call duties.
