Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead and oversee services across Leicestershire, Staffordshire, and nearby areas. You will work with the Registered Manager to ensure high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each individual’s needs and aspirations.

You’ll supervise and induct staff, conduct care audits, liaise with families and professionals, and safeguard residents while maintaining accurate records and regulatory compliance. A driving licence and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Knowledgeable of the care sector, preferably in supported living.
• Good knowledge of CQC key lines of enquiry and regulatory frameworks.
• Level 3+ in Health & Social Care (desirable).
• Experience leading and engaging a team of support workers.

Responsibilities

• Induction of new team members and supervision.
• Support to existing team members.
• Completion of care audits to ensure good practice and trigger reviews; care plans are person-centred.
• Liaising with family members, care professionals, social workers, and clients for holistic care.
• Monitor, report and investigate safeguarding concerns and mitigate risks.
• Maintain up-to-date admin records such as care notes, medication charts and meeting notes.
