Job summary

Right at Home Harrogate is seeking an experienced Care Coordinator to join our award-winning homecare team. The role centers on managing daily client and care assistant communications, accurate scheduling, and ensuring high-quality care across Harrogate, Ripon, Boroughbridge, Otley and Knaresborough.

You should be personable, calm under pressure, and able to build positive working relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service setting and building relationships.
• Desirable: familiarity with scheduling/HR/recording systems.
• Desirable: related qualification in Business Studies or Social Care.
• Desirable: previous domiciliary care experience.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable to the Registered Manager for smooth day-to-day client and care assistant communications.
• Ensure compliance and support the business to achieve Good rating.
• Efficiently manage scheduling to maximise allocated care time and travel time.
• Promote company policies and maintain CPD/ training records.
• Answer telephone queries promptly and record enquiries accurately.
• Update relevant parties quickly on changes to client or care assistant needs.
• Log complaints and feedback using the correct procedure.
• Provide high-quality care to vulnerable people at home.
• Highlight recruitment needs to management to ensure safe delivery of care.
• Maintain clear communications with care staff and build positive relationships.
• Record new Care Assistants and Clients promptly in the system.
• Report weekly on recruitment, rota gaps, and risks to management.
• Match suitable Care Assistants to packages and produce fortnightly rosters.
