Job summary

Peterborough City Council is seeking a Brokerage Officer to coordinate residential, nursing and domiciliary care placements, negotiate prices with providers and manage contracts. You will record information on Mosaic and provide essential administrative and financial support, preparing reports, arranging meetings and ensuring documentation across the service.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage a varied workload and stay organised.
• Strong communication with team, providers and partners.
• Experience discussing costs with independent care providers.
• Detail-oriented, especially when recording information or preparing reports.
• Familiarity with Council databases and information systems.
• Proactive, solution-focused and able to work independently.
• Able to advise and inform others on relevant matters.
• Represent the team professionally in meetings.

Responsibilities
