Job summary

Knowsley Council is recruiting a Purchasing and Brokerage Officer to join a team delivering brokerage, purchasing and placement services for social care users. The role involves handling referrals, identifying purchasing requirements and arranging placements with care providers.

Responsibilities include inputting placement data, maintaining high-quality information in Council databases and MIS, and producing reports to support performance monitoring.

Qualifications

• Support the work of Adult Social Care by providing reports and intelligence from databases and other information.
• Input and update placement and package information using Council databases and MIS.
• Input referrals and identify purchasing requirements for service placements.

Responsibilities
