Job summary

Springcare Care Homes Ltd is seeking a strong and experienced Registered Nursing Home Manager to join our family-run group of Residential and Nursing homes. The role is a full-time position at 40 hours per week, with a focus on delivering person-centred care and leading a established team.

You will hold a current NMC pin, possess at least 2 years’ experience in a nursing home environment, and demonstrate exceptional leadership and managerial skills in line with CQC standards.

• Proven track record in care home management with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the home, working with Deputy Manager and staff to create and drive a vision for the home.
• Maintain person-centred care and ensure residents' wellbeing and occupancy levels.
• Recruit, retain, and manage the team; liaise with residents’ families and other health professionals.
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements; act as role model and drive excellence.

A fantastic and exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong and experienced Registered Nursing Home Manager to become part of our team at 40 hours per week.

What are we looking for?

Ideally you will be an experienced Registered Manager, hold a current NMC pin, with at least 2 years’ experience in a nursing home environment, have a relevant professional qualification, and able to demonstrate a proven track record in care home management with excellent leadership, problem solving and managerial skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

Working closely with your Deputy Manager and well-established team of staff, you will create and lead a vision for the home.

You will demonstrate natural leadership skills, whilst keeping the residents at the heart in all that you do.

Your main responsibilities are to ensure person-centred care of our residents, maintaining occupancy levels, recruiting, retaining and managing your team, liaising with residents’ families and other care professionals and keeping up to date and complying with CQC and care standards.

You will demonstrate our core values in all that you do, and will be a role model for your team, inspiring them with your passion and striving for excellence throughout the home.
