Job summary

Home Instead is seeking a Care Manager to lead a team delivering high-quality, person-centred care in the Manchester area. You will oversee client services, compliance, and day-to-day operations with a focus on continuous improvement and staff development.

You will manage care planning, risk assessments and reporting to regulators, ensuring services meet legal standards while supporting business growth and excellent client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven track record managing day-to-day operations in a fast-paced care environment.
• Experience analysing regulatory and quality requirements for care services.
• Willingness to work towards Level 5 Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills with stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee client services and ensure compliance with governing bodies and legislation.
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
• Manage client acquisition, care planning and risk assessments.
• Investigate complaints and incidents to drive service improvements.
• Coordinate reports to regulators (e.g. CQC) and safeguarding bodies.
• Work with the franchise owner to grow the private homecare service.
