Friends of the Elderly (FotE) is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to providing excellent care with a family feel. We have been supporting older people for over 100 years. The charity provides care home and day care services for older people, as well as grants for older people in financial difficulty.
Location: Friends Place, Calcot, Reading

This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about supporting older people to live well. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Deputy Care Manager or similar, with a good understanding of the Care Certificate, Care Standards Act, and Health & Safety legislation. You should be approachable, resilient, professional, proactive, knowledgeable about sales and marketing principles, and skilled in staff recruitment and retention. You will be a problem solver with a forward-thinking approach, capable of conducting audits and ensuring high standards of person-centred care.
