We are seeking a Supported Living Registered Care Manager to join our team at AM2PM Quality Care Limited. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality support services, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional care tailored to their individual needs. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a positive environment for both clients and staff.

Responsibilities

The Registered Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Provide leadership to the administration, care and nursing, catering, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, and people management functions of the service.
  2. Lead marketing efforts and promote the service, including selling its services at the agreed prices.
  3. Maintain the operations of the service at the standard agreed with the Registered Provider, within the financial budget or other parameters set by the Provider.
  4. Promote and safeguard the welfare of individuals supported by the service.
  5. Recruitment of staff.
  6. Induct new starters in accordance with company policy.
  7. Lead, motivate, and direct staff.
  8. Conduct staff supervision and annual staff appraisals for all department heads.
  9. Develop staff to their full potential, ensuring succession planning for the service.
  10. Embed multidisciplinary team working in the service.
  11. Attend statutory and other relevant training as directed by management.
  12. Take responsibility for your own professional development through performance and development reviews and undertake relevant training.

Qualifications

  • Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager for LD, Autism, and Mental Health residents.
  • Experience with at least one full CQC inspection.
