Cornwall Council is recruiting Personal Advisors for the 16+ and Separated Children Seeking Asylum Service. The role supports care leavers aged 18–25, undertaking Pathway Plans, Reviews and coordinating with housing, education, and welfare agencies to secure stable post-care outcomes.

Working 37 hours per week (Mon–Fri) with DBS check and IT literacy required; driving with access to a vehicle is preferred to support local outreach across Cornwall.

Qualifications

• Experience with children and young people, including care leavers.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse backgrounds.

Responsabilités

• Lead on post-18 years Pathway Planning with care leavers.
• Coordinate with partner agencies to support transitions to independence.
• Manage diary and caseload in collaboration with Social Workers.
• Undertake Pathway Plans and Reviews for Care Leavers aged 18+.
• Autonomously and in lone-working contexts, with risk assessment and planning guidance.
