St Philips Care Group is seeking a reliable Cook to join our busy kitchen at The Grove Skellingthorpe Care Centre. You will prepare and serve nutritious meals within our budgets, focusing on home-style dishes that residents love, such as Sunday roasts and desserts.

Full training is provided, and you’ll join a supportive team dedicated to high standards of care. Applicants should have a catering qualification (NVQ2 or equivalent) and knowledge of textured diets; DBS/PVG checks apply.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum qualification NVQ Level 2 or 706/2 in Catering.
• Knowledge of textured and modified diets.
• Experience in a care, hospital or commercial kitchen advantageous (training provided).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and serve meals and beverages.
• Follow home policies and maintain hygiene standards.
• Manage kitchen duties and order food within budgets.
• Report issues raised by residents to the Care Centre Manager.
• Attend mandatory and in-house training.
• Understand COSHH requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene records.
