Job summary

St James’ Park Care Home in the Bridport area is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support meal preparation in a clean, safe kitchen. You will assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation, and work closely with the Chef and team to ensure meals are prepared to a high standard.

The role offers a consistent routine within a supportive kitchen environment and provides opportunities to develop experience through a caring, community-focused employer.

Qualifications

• A positive and reliable approach.
• Good organization and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.
