Job summary

Sanctuary Care is seeking a Care Improvement Partner to drive regulatory compliance, care standards and service quality across England and Scotland, delivering expert guidance and leading improvements in residential and nursing settings.

You will hold a Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent, possess a current driving license for national travel, demonstrate proven leadership in the care sector, and communicate clearly in English while analysing data from multiple systems to

• Full, current driving license for national travel across England and Scotland.
• Proven leadership and management experience in the care sector.
• Proven experience in care in a residential environment.
• Detailed understanding of regulatory compliance, care legislation and inspection regimes.
• Experience of change management and/or managing challenged services.
• Proven ability to manage effective delivery of projects.
• Compassionate and clear leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills including understanding of written and spoken English.
• Ability to interpret and analyse data from multiple complex systems.
• Good time management and diary planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise, detailed understanding and practical guidance on regulatory compliance, care legislation and inspection regimes.
• Ensure the highest level of care standards through quality improvements, assessments and monitoring.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business to drive continuous improvements and high standards.
• Represent the quality and clinical team at internal and external events.
• Work with residential and nursing home colleagues to ensure effective use of systems and processes and policy compliance.
• Provide support and guidance to apply theoretical principles and training concepts in practice.
• Maintain knowledge of care standards, regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Travel nationally to cover England and Scotland with a current driving license.
• Demonstrate effective leadership and management in the care sector.
• Drive change and improve service delivery and project outcomes.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately, using data-driven insights.

Job description

• Provide expertise, detailed understanding and practical guidance on regulatory compliance, care legislation and inspection regimes and action to ensure achievement of CQC (England) and CI (Scotland), legislative and organisational requirements and service delivery requirement
• Ensure the highest level of care standards are maintained at all times through quality improvements, assessments, monitoring throughout the business demonstrating learning and sharing best practice.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues from other departments across the business to ensure continuous improvements and high standards of care quality.
• To represent the quality and clinical team at internal and external events as and when required.
• Work with residential and nursing home colleagues to ensure the effective use of systems and processes including compliance with policies and procedure
• Provide support and guidance to ensure the effective practical application of theoretical principles and training concepts, acting as a role model for excellence in the delivery of care practices and standards.
• Maintain knowledge and expertise in care standards, regulatory compliance requirement and internal policy and procedures. Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent similar as proof of continued professional development
• Full, current driving license for national travel across England and Scotland
