Job summary

Kara Healthcare is recruiting for a Recruitment role at our Cosby, Leicester office. You’ll manage multiple vacancies across care homes, screen candidates by phone, coordinate interviews and drive onboarding while keeping records up to date.

You’ll write adverts, build relationships with Home Managers, and ensure compliance throughout the process, delivering an outstanding candidate experience in a busy, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment agencies or fast-paced recruitment environments.
• Experience managing multiple vacancies and candidates simultaneously.
• Excellent administration and organisational skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence speaking with candidates, managers and stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, positive, solutions-focused approach.
• Knowledge of DBS, right-to-work checks and recruitment compliance.
• Experience using social media and job boards to attract candidates.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple vacancies across care homes and support services.
• Speaking with candidates and conducting telephone screenings.
• Coordinating interviews and maintaining regular communication with applicants.
• Writing engaging job adverts and posting vacancies across recruitment platforms.
• Building strong relationships with Home Managers and operational teams.
• Supporting pre-employment checks including references and DBS checks.
• Keeping recruitment systems and candidate records accurate and up to date.
• Proactively searching for candidates through job boards and social media.
• Delivering an excellent candidate experience from application to offer.
