Job summary

Avery Healthcare is hiring a warm, enthusiastic Receptionist for Miramar Care Home in Herne Bay. You’ll be the first point of contact, delivering high-quality customer service and handling a range of administrative duties to support the General Manager.

Ideal candidates have excellent communication, computer literacy, and a friendly, welcoming attitude. Experience with problem-solving and client inquiries is desirable; DBS disclosure is required and UK eligibility to work is assumed.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Confident with using computers and basic software.
• Positive, friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Experience handling enquiries and problem-solving with clients is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries at reception.
• Redirecting calls to relevant staff and recording messages.
• Carrying out reception-related administration and maintaining databases.
• Maintaining tidiness of the reception area and coordinating with Housekeeping.
