Job summary

Excelcare is seeking a Bank Receptionist for its St Georges Court Care Home in Cambridge. You will greet visitors, answer calls, sign in/out guests, and assist with post handling while keeping the reception area neat and welcoming.

The role offers bank hours with the possibility of more shifts, and you will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure smooth operations and a positive first impression for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Good IT skills - Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
• Previous experience in a customer facing or reception role.
• Bank hours available

Responsibilities

• Greet all visitors with a warm welcome and check in/out.
• Answer telephone calls and relay messages promptly.
• Handle incoming/outgoing post and keep reception tidy.
• Work with Home Manager to stock stationery and report updates.
• Promote the home and assist with recruitment as needed.
