Qualifications

• Previous management experience in a care home setting.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership to staff and promote a positive culture.
• Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements, and all statutory standards.
• Oversee care quality, risk management, and governance systems.
• Manage recruitment, training, supervision, and performance of staff.
• Maintain accurate, person-centred care planning and documentation.
• Build effective relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance resident wellbeing and service outcomes.
• Manage budgets, occupancy, and financial performance.
• Ensure the home remains safe, welcoming, and well-organised at all times.
• As part of the role, you may be required to work alternate weekends, out of hours or evenings.
