Job summary

Colten Care in Poole is seeking a Home Manager for Bourne View, a 68-bed, CQC Good-rated home.

You’ll lead the home’s team, manage resources and drive excellence in person-centred care, working closely with your Clinical Lead to maintain CQC standards and occupancy.

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you’ll build a clear vision for the home, develop community links, promote the service locally and ensure smooth operation with strong governance and staff development.

Qualifications

• Experience in care home management, preferably for older people.
• Proven track record with CQC standards and expectations.
• Understanding of commercial and operational aspects of running a care home.

Responsibilities

• Lead the home’s team and manage resources to deliver excellent care.
• Ensure quality and compliance with CQC standards.
• Maintain high occupancy through community engagement and marketing.
• Build relationships with residents, families and multidisciplinary teams.
