The Ashton Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in Hinckley to keep the home safe and well maintained. The role is hands-on, with a variety of tasks across building and grounds, focusing on repairs, safety checks and planned maintenance.

You will work 16 hours over the week, with DBS paid, pension, and uniform provided, plus 5.6 weeks of annual leave based on a full-time contract. Independent work and health and safety compliance are important.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities or a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of general repairs, electrical and building maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.
• A proactive and practical approach.
• Reliable, organised and able to problem solve.

Responsabilités

• Carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks across the building and grounds.
• Perform repairs, basic electrical checks, installations and upkeep.
• Ensure equipment and systems are safe and efficiently functioning.
