Claremont Court Care Home is seeking a Maintenance person to safeguard the building and residents by carrying out repairs and regular safety checks. You will walk the home daily, identify maintenance needs, and develop a programme with the Home Manager while staying friendly and respectful.

This part-time role offers 27 hours per week across Monday, Thursday and Friday, at £15 per hour. Benefits include paid holiday, pension and a range of staff perks.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience in care settings.
• Experience with painting and decorating; electrical and plumbing skills beneficial but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of Health and Safety, COSHH, Fire Safety and Food Safety.
• Keep up-to-date records of checks and repairs.

Responsabilités

• Maintain home repairs and safety checks daily.
• Proactively identify maintenance needs and develop a maintenance programme with the Home Manager.
• Interact with residents daily, remaining friendly, caring and kind while respecting dignity.
