Job summary

HC-One Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Operative for a full-time position (36 hours per week) in Walton-on-Thames. You will handle maintenance tasks across housing and communal areas, from taps and extractor fans to decorating, while upholding high standards of care for residents.

The role requires solid experience in maintenance and DIY, with knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and basic IT skills. Safeguarding training is encouraged and supported by the company.

Qualifications

Experience in building maintenance and repairs.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to follow safeguarding training and policies.

Responsibilities

Carry out audits and keep records up to date.
Perform maintenance tasks such as replacing taps, mixer valves, extractor fans, and window repairs.
Carry out decorating tasks like wallpapering and repairs in communal areas.
Ensure a respectful and caring approach to residents and colleagues; maintain safety standards.
