Oakminster Healthcare Ltd. in Glasgow is seeking friendly Domestic and Kitchen Assistants to join our care homes. You will deliver high standards of cleaning, assist with meal preparation and support residents with care in a warm, compassionate environment.

Roles cover domestic duties and kitchen porter tasks, with a focus on cleanliness, safety and resident wellbeing. A flexible schedule and opportunities for development are available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Vacuum floors, dust and clean ornaments and surfaces as directed by the Nurse on duty.
• Clean high dusting and wash down paintwork in public areas such as hall, sitting rooms, staircase, and lifts.
• Assist Housekeeper in keeping the home clean and tidy at all times.
• Prepare meals and beverages, including special diet meals, and check quality and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum floors, dust and clean surfaces and wash down paintwork in public areas as directed.
• Assist Housekeeper to keep the home clean and tidy at all times.
• Spot clean carpets daily and empty wastebaskets; clean laundry area and linen.
• Prepare meals and beverages, check quality, and follow dietary instructions as needed.
• Adhere to safety regulations and report faulty equipment to Cook/Manager.
