Job summary

OSJCT Brookside Care Home in Melksham is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly catering team and prepare meals, snacks, and drinks for residents. You’ll learn residents’ likes and dislikes so mealtimes are always a highlight of their day.

Contracted hours are 12 per week with shifts 08:00–14:00 and 14:00–20:00, including every other weekend. You’ll work with a caring team dedicated to high-quality, person-centred care and ongoing training and development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious meals, snacks and drinks for residents as part of the catering team.
• Get to know residents’ likes and dislikes so mealtimes are a highlight of their day.
