Job summary

Care South is hiring a Kitchen Assistant (Bank) at Dorset House, Poole. You will assist in preparing meals, support residents during meals, and help maintain clean kitchen and dining areas. Flexible shifts include mornings, afternoons, and long days, with weekend coverage as needed.

The role emphasizes teamwork, good communication, and a caring approach to residents. Prior catering or care experience is helpful but not essential, and full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a busy kitchen environment.
• Experience in a care or catering setting is helpful but not essential.

• Support the Chef and kitchen team with basic meal preparation and drinks.
• Follow food safety and health & safety regulations.
