Job summary

Avon Court Care Home in Chippenham is seeking a friendly Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents. You will clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, and support laundry duties with care and attention to detail.

Working closely with the team, you will follow infection control and health and safety procedures, ensuring high standards of presentation. Prior experience is welcome but not essential, and enhanced DBS is provided.

Qualifications

• A positive and reliable approach.
• Good attention to detail and organisation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.
• Previous experience is welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard.
