Job summary

Kingfisher House Care Home in Perth is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment and to support laundry services. You will play a hands-on role ensuring rooms, bathrooms and communal areas meet high standards of hygiene and presentation.

You will work closely with the team, follow infection control procedures, and contribute to a comfortable environment where residents feel respected and cared for. Prior experience is welcome but not essential.

Qualifications

• A positive and reliable approach.
• Good attention to detail and organisation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high hygiene standard.
• Support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and labelling.
