Avon Court Care Home in Chippenham, Wiltshire, is hiring a Housekeeping Assistant for a 24-hour-per-week contract (£13.45–£13.95 per hour). You will clean residents' rooms, support laundry duties and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment. DBS eligibility, uniform and other benefits are included.

The role involves adhering to infection control and safety procedures, contributing to residents' comfort and daily wellbeing, and working with the team to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• A positive and reliable approach.
• Good attention to detail and organisation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.
• Previous experience is welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to high hygiene standards.
• Support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing with clear labelling.
• Follow infection control, health and safety, and housekeeping procedures to ensure safe, efficient operations.
