Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking a Hotel Services Assistant for Ach an Eas Care Home to maintain high cleanliness standards and support the catering team. You will help prepare, produce and serve meals and snacks to residents, while ensuring kitchen and dining areas remain clean and well-maintained.

Duties include assisting with kitchen operations and upholding infection control policies. The role involves working on a rota basis across a 7-day period, with weekend enhancements as part of our care home

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control policies preferred.
• Willingness to work a rota covering a 7 day period, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standards of cleanliness in line with local infection control policies and procedures.
• Promote and maintain high standards of cleanliness within the care home environment.
• Assist in providing a high quality catering service to residents as part of the catering team.
• Prepare, produce and provide meals and snacks to residents.
• Assist with the operation and cleanliness of the kitchen, associated equipment and dining areas.
