Job summary

Lynwood Care Centre, part of Gold Care Homes, is looking for a dedicated Gardener to maintain all gardens and outdoor spaces to a high standard, creating a safe, attractive, and therapeutic environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues.

You will mow, prune, water, weed, mulch, and tend trees and shrubs, keep pathways clean, operate gardening equipment safely, and report faults promptly to the Home Manager. A collaborative team-ready mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in garden maintenance and plant care.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Good attention to safety and cleanliness in communal spaces.

Responsibilities

• Maintain gardens, lawns, borders and outdoor areas to a high standard.
• Plant, water, prune, weed, mulch and care for trees and shrubs.
• Mow lawns, edge, feed and aerate where required, keep paths clean.
• Operate and maintain gardening tools safely and report faults promptly.
• Support a welcoming outdoor environment for residents and visitors.
