The Sidcup Care Home in Sidcup is seeking a part-time Financial Administrator to support the home’s finance function. You will raise invoices, manage income, and handle banking tasks, while liaising with local authorities to ensure timely payments and accurate records.

Responsibilities include safeguarding resident monies, processing payroll, handling supplier payments and maintaining documentation. A prior financial administration background and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Financial Administrator or similar role.
• Excellent customer service skills and friendly manner.
• Organised, with eye for detail and ability to handle a varied workload.

Responsibilities

• Raise invoices using bespoke software and manage debt as appropriate.
• Liaise with Local and Health Authorities for information and payments.
• Ensure documentation for admissions is complete and recorded.
• Safeguard resident monies and reconcile transactions.
• Administer purchasing, supplier payments and petty cash.
• Process employee data and payroll accurately and timely.
• Provide clerical support to the Home Manager and generate reports.
• Maintain an orderly filing system and stationery replenishment.
