Job summary

Avery Healthcare’s Moorlands Lodge Care Home in Surrey is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Coordinator to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff. The role runs from 8 am to 4.30 pm and focuses on smooth facilities operations and high building upkeep throughout the home.

• Solid understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Understanding of safety and fire safety systems.
• Ability to make responsible decisions in residents' best interest.

Responsibilities

• Resolve home maintenance concerns promptly with knowledge of building systems and regulations.
• Engage with approved contractors and source suppliers as needed.
• Cover emergencies relating to the fabric of the home or building systems.
• Direct line management of the Maintenance Assistant including supervision and performance reviews.
