Job summary

Exemplar Health Care’s Walton Grove care home in Oldham is seeking a Domestic Assistant to maintain high standards of cleanliness across the home. You will perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, polishing and vacuuming, to keep bedrooms, lounges, kitchens and bathrooms welcoming for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in care sector is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily and weekly cleaning routines, including dusting, mopping, polishing and vacuuming.
• Clean bedrooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms, offices and other designated areas.
• Use equipment such as carpet cleaning machines.
• Assist with washing and drying laundry as required.
• Report breakages, damage, defects and hazards.
• Build trust and promote dignity and independence.
