Job summary

Exemplar Health Care's Fernwood home in Knowsley is seeking a Domestic Assistant to keep our home clean and welcoming. You will carry out daily and weekly cleaning tasks, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and tidying bedrooms, lounges, kitchens and offices.

No prior care sector experience is required, and we value someone who is kind, detail‑oriented, and a good team player. The role involves weekend shifts on a 36 hour week and offers supportive training and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning roles is not essential but beneficial.
• You value high cleanliness standards and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily and weekly cleaning routines.
• Dust, mop, polish and vacuum all areas including bedrooms and lounges.
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, offices and other designated spaces.
• Use cleaning equipment such as carpet cleaners when needed.
• Assist with washing and drying laundry as required.
• Report breakages, damage and hazards promptly.
• Support residents with a polite, respectful approach.
