Mayflower Care Home is seeking a Domestic Assistant to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment across our three floors, contributing to residents’ wellbeing and comfort. You will clean rooms, bathrooms and communal spaces, and assist with laundry while upholding high hygiene standards.

Working with the wider team, you will follow infection control and health and safety procedures, ensuring tasks are completed safely. Previous experience is welcomed but not essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive and reliable approach.
• Excellent attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills with residents and colleagues.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Clean residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to high hygiene standards.
• Support laundry services and care for residents’ personal belongings.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures in all tasks.
• Contribute to a well organised, respectful, and comfortable environment.
• Work closely with the team to maintain quality of life for residents.
