Job summary

Fleet Valley Care Home, located on the edge of Gatehouse of Fleet, is seeking a Domestic Assistant to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents. The role involves cleaning rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, and assisting with laundry, ensuring high hygiene standards and respectful care.

You will work with the team following infection control and health and safety procedures to support wellbeing and comfort for residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Positive and reliable approach to work.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.
• Previous experience welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard of hygiene.
• Support laundry services and ensure belongings are handled with care.
• Follow infection control, health and safety and cleaning procedures.
• Contribute to a well organised, respectful and comfortable environment for residents.
