Job summary

White House Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, requires a Domestic Assistant to maintain clean, safe and welcoming surroundings for residents. Duties include cleaning rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, assisting Laundry, and adhering to infection control procedures.

Training and a strong team ethic are encouraged. The role supports wellbeing, dignity and comfort, with DBS paid, pension and uniform provided, and 5.6 weeks annual leave for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Positive and reliable approach.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.
• Previous experience is welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard.
• Support laundry services and handle personal belongings with care.
• Follow infection control, health and safety and cleaning procedures.
• Work with the wider team to maintain a well-organised, respectful environment.
