Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Deputy Manager for a care home in Swindon to lead the care team and ensure residents receive safe, supportive, person-centred care.

As part of Agincare, you will oversee inductions, care audits, liaise with families and professionals, maintain records and support the Registered Manager. A QCF level 3 or equivalent is required, along with 12 months' leadership experience and eligibility to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of the CQC key lines of enquiry and other regulatory frameworks.
• Eligible to work in the UK with 12+ months right to work.
• Experience leading a team of care assistants.

Responsibilities

• Lead the care team to deliver safe, supportive and person-centred care.
• Induct new team members and supervise existing staff.
• Complete care audits and trigger reviews as needs change.
• Maintain and review care plans; liaise with families and professionals.
• Ensure hygiene, cleanliness and equipment safety; support the Registered Manager.
