Job summary

Rubislaw Park Care Home is seeking a part-time Chef to join our award-winning team in Aberdeen. You will prepare nutritious meals, tailor menus to dietary needs, and maintain high hygiene standards in a supportive kitchen environment.

Working days with 20 hours per week at £15.50 per hour, with PVG paid, pension, uniform provided and 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full-time contract. A balanced schedule and opportunities for development are offered.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 (or equivalent) or working towards.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Experience in a professional kitchen environment.
• Positive and reliable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, nutritious meals tailored to residents' dietary needs.
• Take ownership of food preparation and service, ensuring high presentation and safety.
• Support menu planning and kitchen organisation, ensuring smooth day-to-day service.
• Maintain hygiene and food safety standards to ensure resident wellbeing.
