Job summary

HC-One - Balcarres is seeking a dedicated Chef to join our care home kitchen, preparing wholesome, homemade meals that meet nutritional needs and comfort residents daily.

You will be an experienced cook with NVQ2 or equivalent and Level 2 Food Hygiene, capable of applying HACCP in a busy kitchen while contributing to menu planning and presentation. You will be a supportive team player in HC-One's caring culture.

Qualifications

• Qualified cook with a recognised certification such as NVQ2 or equivalent.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certification completed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook wholesome, homemade meals for residents.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and HACCP practices.
• Work as part of the care home kitchen team to deliver nutritious, appetising dishes.
• Present meals with care and attention to presentation.
