KPI Recruiting Ltd invites a dedicated Care Home Chef to join a team in Cambridge. You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals for residents in a care home setting, ensuring dietary needs and food safety standards are met.

The role focuses on high-quality meal production, menu planning, and maintaining a clean kitchen while following HACCP procedures and company policies to support residents' wellbeing and daily experience.

Qualificações

• Previous experience as a Chef/Cook in catering.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Experience cooking for larger groups or high-volume catering.
• Understanding of nutrition for older adults.
• Experience catering for specialist dietary needs and allergies.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, cook and present fresh, nutritious meals for residents.
• Plan and prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for the service schedule.
• Cater for a range of dietary requirements (allergies, diabetes, vegetarian, vegan, texture-modified).
• Ensure meals are well presented and meet residents' preferences.
• Monitor food quality, portion sizes and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.
• Complete daily food safety checks (temperature monitoring and records).
• Follow HACCP procedures and comply with food hygiene regulations.
• Store food, ingredients and cleaning products safely.
• Follow company Health & Safety, infection control and safeguarding policies.
