Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking an Admin Assistant at one of our care homes to support managers, answer calls, handle files and welcome visitors. You will engage with residents and families, helping create a friendly, vibrant environment.

You will have opportunities to learn through funded training and develop your administrative skills in a compassionate team. This is an on-site role with meaningful work in elder care.

Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Good computer skills with basic software.
• Confident telephone manner when speaking with residents, families and visitors.
• People person who takes genuine interest in residents and their families.
• Willingness to develop skills through available courses.

Responsibilities

• Answer the phone and manage incoming calls.
• Handle files and support managers with administrative tasks.
• Meet and greet visitors and show around prospective clients and families.
• Engage with residents to support a welcoming, vibrant environment.
• Assist with general admin to help deliver quality care.
