Cams Ridge is seeking an Activities & Marketing Coordinator to enhance residents’ quality of life at our care home in Porchester, Fareham. You will plan, organise and deliver engaging activities for older adults, including those living with dementia, and drive marketing efforts to promote the home within the local community.

Qualifications

• Experience in assisted living, residential, or nursing home settings preferred.
• Knowledge of elderly care, including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
• Marketing, community engagement or social media experience helpful.
• Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok for content.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and events.
• Compassionate, person-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate a programme of activities for residents.
• Adapt activities for residents with dementia/Alzheimer's.
• Foster a warm, inclusive environment encouraging participation.
• Collaborate with care staff to tailor activity programmes.
• Organise events, outings and therapeutic programmes.
• Maintain records of participation and feedback for evaluation.
• Ensure activities comply with health and safety regulations.
• Plan and deliver marketing initiatives to promote the home.
• Create engaging content (photos, videos, stories) for social media.
• Manage and update the home's social media accounts.
• Develop understanding of trends to increase engagement.
• Support community engagement through open days and local events.
• Work with management on marketing campaigns to support occupancy.
