Job summary

First City Care Group in Swindon is seeking an organised Care Coordinator to plan and maintain rotas ensuring continuity of care for clients at home. You will match carers to needs, respond to queries, and support high-quality service delivery. This full-time 40-hour role includes an on-call rota with additional earnings.

You'll work closely with staff, families, and healthcare professionals, and there are opportunities for additional shifts and training. DBS checks and references are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on care experience
• Experience in rota planning or scheduling is desirable
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Confident communicator with a calm, professional manner
• Comfortable using rostering or care-management systems (training provided)
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain rotas to ensure continuity of care
• Match carers to customers based on skills, experience and location
• Manage last-minute changes calmly and professionally
• Respond promptly to calls, emails and messages
• Record and escalate concerns, complaints and compliments appropriately
• Collaborate with care team and management to maintain service quality
