Job summary

Helping Hands is recruiting a Care Coordinator to support the Branch Care Manager in delivering high-quality care across the local area, ensuring timely visits and a supportive team environment.

You will allocate carers, complete assessments, and help recruit new staff, while updating care plans to reflect customer needs and preferences. A strong customer service approach and branch growth focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care or be willing to work towards it.
• Experience in the care sector, ideally in a supervisory role.
• Good understanding of CQC/CIW regulatory standards and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Support your Branch Care Manager to deliver exceptional care across your local area.
• Allocate carers effectively so customers receive consistent, high-quality support.
• Complete supervisions and observations on time, helping carers grow and maintain great practice.
• Help recruit and onboard new carers, strengthening the branch’s capacity and community impact.
• Review and update care plans so they reflect each customer’s needs, preferences and wellbeing.
• Look for opportunities to grow the branch, supporting local engagement and commercial activity.
• Champion brilliant customer service, ensuring every interaction feels considered and kind.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.
