Job summary

Prestige Nursing & Care Greater Manchester is recruiting a Care Coordinator to join the Manchester branch. You will coordinate care packages and staff rosters to ensure continuity of care, working closely with Account Managers, Nurses, Recruitment, Compliance and Staff Welfare teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in care coordination, scheduling, healthcare administration, or a similar role.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Able to manage changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of complex care, including brain and spinal injury support, delivering person‑centred services.
• Confidentiality, professionalism and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently whilst contributing to a wider team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage care packages; ensure client visits are covered safely.
• Produce and maintain accurate staff rotas using electronic scheduling systems.
• Match care staff to client needs and manage emergency shift cover.
• Monitor care delivery to ensure continuity of support and quality.
• Communicate rota changes and client updates to care staff; respond to enquiries.
• Assist with audits, quality monitoring and service reviews.
