Job summary

Brayson Consulting Ltd in Ware seeks an experienced Care Co-ordinator to support the Registered Manager in delivering domiciliary care for Welwyn/Bishop’s Stortford areas. You will help organise day-to-day services, liaise with health professionals, and contribute to QA and regulatory compliance.

Key duties include creating carer schedules, maintaining client records, and supporting recruitment and supervision. A valid UK driving licence and own car are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Co-ordinator in domiciliary care (2+ years).
• Own car and UK driving licence essential.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Understanding of CQC Regulations and health and safety.
• Functional literacy and numeracy skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• NQV Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed work schedules and written schedules for Carers.
• Maintain accurate files and records of clients and care workers.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Assurance Policy and CQC procedures.
• Answer the phone promptly and communicate respectfully.
• Maintain confidentiality and carry out risk assessments.
• Monitor carers' service quality and report issues.
• Visit clients and review care plans and medication logs.
• Assist in recruitment, induction, and supervision of staff.
• Carry out spot checks and supervise staff performance.

CARE COORDINATOR - WARE

NO SPONSORSHIP - MUST HAVE OWN CAR AND RIGHT TO WORK IN UK

Our client, an existing franchise of a national group, is looking for an experienced Domiciliary Care Co‑Ordinator who can handle 1000 hours+ to start in their Ware based office, covering the areas of Welwyn and Bishop Stortford. They are offering a good salary package for the right candidate who is passionate, hardworking and will take part in the on call roster which is paid extra.

The Care Coordinator's role is assisting the Registered Manager in organising the day‑to‑day running of the service. The Care Coordinator's responsibility is to support the Registered Manager in achieving the company's Quality Assurance Policy and to assist in marketing services provided by the company and liaising with prospective clients, health professionals and other agencies that provide training and development.

Duties & Responsibilities

• provide detailed work schedules and written schedules for the Carers
• maintain accurate files and records of clients and care workers
• be aware to adhere to the Quality Assurance Policy of the of the Company and all CQC Procedures at all times
• to ensure the telephones are promptly answered and people are spoken to in a polite and respectful manner
• to always maintain the utmost confidentiality and carry out the Company's Confidentiality Policy
• to monitor the service of the Carers in the field and ensure it meets correct quality standards
• to keep the Registered Manager informed of any issues / emergencies
• to visit clients and create reviews of the written Care Plans, examine written records of medication administration, finance and daily logs kept by staff
• to assist the Registered Manager with the recruitment, induction, training and supervision of staff
• carry out spot checks and supervision reviews of staff performance
• assist the Manager in holding team meetings for Care Workers
• participate in an out of hours on call roster when necessary on weekends
• to be familiar with and to uphold all Health and Safety regulations as per the Health & Safety Work Act 1974 and to inform the Registered Manager of any breaches and carry out risk assessments

Essential experience

• Experience as a Care Co‑Ordinator -2+years in a Domiciliary Care setting
• Functional literacy and numeracy skills
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Understanding of legislation (CQC Regulations) concerning care provision
• Strong Microsoft Office suite and computer literacy
• Ability to deal with emergencies and remain calm and display empathy within a care environment
• Own car and UK Driving licence is essential
• NQV Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care

Salary at £29000-£30000 per year + on call paid extra + pension

Preferably an immediate start but soonest will do and must have own car
