About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Care Coordinator to join our growing team in Ringwood.
This is a varied and rewarding role, combining care coordination, staff support, service user engagement, scheduling, recruitment, and business development. Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our clients receive safe, high-quality, person-centred care while supporting the growth and success of our live-in care service.

Key Responsibilities
Care Coordination
- Coordinate and oversee care delivery for a portfolio of live-in care clients.
- Undertake assessments, reviews, and care plan updates.
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, and care staff.
- Act as the main point of contact for allocated service users.
- Manage care schedules, rotas, and daily operational requirements.
- Monitor service quality and elevate concerns where necessary.
- Participate in the on-call rota on alternate weekends.
Recruitment & Staff Support
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of new carers.
- Assist with inductions, training arrangements, and probation reviews.
- Maintain positive working relationships between carers and clients.
- Support staff development and retention initiatives.
Business Development & Community Engagement
- Build relationships with healthcare professionals and community organisations.
- Attend networking and outreach events to promote services.
- Support local marketing and business development activities.
- Help convert enquiries into live-in care placements.
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate care and HR records.
- Produce reports for management teams.
- Use scheduling, care management, and Microsoft Office systems effectively.
- Support continuous improvement across operational processes.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in care scheduling or rota management.
- At least 2 years' experience in a client-facing role within the care sector.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience handling confidential information.
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- A positive, professional, and compassionate approach.
Desirable
- Experience managing or mentoring staff.
- Experience in business development, sales, or community outreach.
- Previous experience within a live-in care environment.
